Dealer lines

Historically listed manufacturers

Authorized dealer relationships as published on the shop’s existing site. Availability is confirmed on the quote — not assumed from a web catalog.

Garmin

Electronic flight instruments, touchscreen navigators, transponders, and integrated displays — the majority of current panel work.

Sandel

Electronic HSI and related instruments for airframes that specify Sandel in the existing or planned panel.

TKM / Michels

Slide-in nav/comm replacements used when the owner wants modern radios without a full panel cut.

S-TEC

Autopilot systems specified with new or existing flight instruments. Interface work is scoped with the rest of the install.

Dynon

Experimental and light-sport glass. Appropriate when the airframe and operating rules allow a Dynon panel.

Installations and repair

One radio or a complete panel

The shop installs avionics in general aviation and amateur-built aircraft. When the installation is complete, an FAA Certified Repairman handles the necessary paperwork and certifications. Repair is offered at the same hangar.

Proper use of installed equipment remains the operator’s responsibility. Review the applicable manuals before flight.

How an install is run

FAR compliance

Transponder and static

Foothills Aviation tests and certifies transponders and static systems so the aircraft stays in compliance while operating in the ATC system. If the system needs adjustment or repair, that work is scoped with the certification.
